  • Copy rendering output to texture

    Hi, ist there a way to capture the current output and copy it to a TTexture? I need to store this to create a blending effect against future drawings on this output ... Thank's in advance ... MC

    You mean like reading from a back-buffer or front-buffer? Although technically this could be possible, it is not exposed in Afterwarp because that involves massive performance penalty.

    An alternative would be rendering to a texture and then drawing this texture on the form, or creating an alternative code path that instead of rendering directly on the form, just for a particular frame, will render to a texture. Remember that TTexture has BeginScene and EndScene methods so you can draw to it directly (if it was created with a drawable flag).
