Afterwarp Framework ® now comes with high-performance binaries that require Windows 10 or later, and an Intel Haswell processor or later, supporting AVX2 instruction set. For older processors and operating systems, alternative 32-bit and 64-bit SSE2 binaries are also available, requiring Windows 7 or newer. For Intel/AMD based Linux builds, Intel Haswell processor or later with AVX2 instruction set is obligatory.

The package includes full software development kit (SDK) for C/C++, C#, Delphi and FreePascal/Lazarus development.

The package includes pre-compiled binaries and include files for Open Asset Import Library also known as "Assimp", a library that can load and save many different 3D mesh formats.
The framework will automatically try to load and use Assimp library when trying to load or save the mesh in a format other than Wavefront OBJ (which is supported natively) using specific API functions.
